Well, at work I see you
You don't see me
I bet your boyfriend stepped in
Before I came
I bet he parted with a kiss
Your tattoo ring switches digits
To middle, to index and back
I look sad in all black
Hurry with the darts
I gotta get to the band, man
So come visit
My place; we'll sit
and talk about the stupid shit that your boyfriend says 'cause
I did love you,
And I still do
And how my standard of girls is based completely around you
Well you live so far away
His contact just says "babe"
I hate these stupid cliches
I let myself up for a year or three
Ghosts of girlfriends haunted me
To irrelevance
Crash to my head like a baseball
So I can concentrate on you
My first ever pitfall
Pour out your heart
Give up; restart
It's with the same guy I'm sure, but at least you might get better
I'm not enough
To fill you up
Shay just loves someone who wants to see you smiling, happy
I'm not enough
To fill you up
Shay just loves someone we know is just exactly like me
I went for their show in Slim's in San Francisco with the menzingers and Daddy Issues. I was wondering why in the hell I did not know them sooner. I like their melodic guitar solos, gnarly drumming and awesome lyrics. Thanks for making my stay in SF amazing. They played songs from this album mostly applause was the most memorable. animehair
Been waiting for this to be on vinyl forever. This album is an absolute classic, and will always remind me of college. Life's too short, and if you don't take time for the little things, You're Gonna Miss It All. Mikey
A new track from Pretty Matty finds the band in top form, delivering clean yet crunchy hook-laden power pop with trademark high energy. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 25, 2020
This album seems to perfectly encapsulate modern life for an entire generation of the working class. It's a record of experiences shared by so many. An amazing and important work of art. Roll The Hard Six
